Being Aware of Spiritual Entities

ESP

There is only one, true God, consisting of three distinct persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  These three persons of the Godhead are not three distinct Gods, but one, known as the Trinity..

Jesus Christ is the second figure of the Godhead, God the Son.  We believe he was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, was crucified as atonement for our sins, died, was laid in a tomb, and on the third day He physically rose from the dead, conquering death, sin, and providing a path for eternal life for all who will come to Him in faith. Jesus lives, reigning in heaven now, but will return at a date God decides that no man knows.

The Holy Spirit indwells within the heart of every Christian.   He acts as conscience, guide and assistant in prayer. He is the seal which identifies God's children.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Pet. 1:21, 2 Tim. 3:16)

The Holy Spirit inspired the authors of the Bible so that what they wrote was free of error, (inerrant) and incapable of error (infallible).

Steps To Salvation

We must remember that Salvation is not limited to one step but to the WHOLE process including obedience.

Hear: You must hear the Word preached.

"For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe." 1 Cor. 1:21 NIV

Believe: Believe that Jesus is who He says He is, the only begotten Son of God, and He has power and ability to save you to the uttermost.

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him." 1 John 4:9 NIV

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 NIV

Repent: Recognize within yourself that you are a sinner, outside God's Will, and have Godly sorrow that leads to a change of your life, your habits, your character.

Confess: That Jesus is the Christ, only begotten Son of the living God, who was raised from the dead.

"Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may. The eunuch answered, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." Acts 8:37 NIV

Be baptized:

Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38 NIV

Live an Obedient Christian Life:     We have an obligation to God to be obedient children, to live as perfect of a life that we can, to be Christ-like unitl either we die or He returns.

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands."  2 John 1:6 NIV
